I need some closure. Some in between time where my mind can wander freely... I need to be in open spaces, where the wind runs through my hair and caresses my face, where the sky is endless and everything is green and lovely. I want to sit in an open field in the dark of night, nothing but the stars and the moon to guide me through thought bubbles and dreams of tomorrow and yesterday. I want to lie on my back and watch shooting stars chase one another through the clouds, and float all the way to the sky so I too can run freely like when I was a child, racing around my neighborhood, cavorting with friends, foes, and the like... This is my utopia. This is my place of silence, this is my place to think.

He
He strays away from time and space
In splendor and in grief.
His symphonies are wreckless
And they do make him retreat
Into mind, sight, harmony
Where he's completely at peace.
But memory won't let him stay,
Evicted from his lease.
To move would be so painless
And yet it hurts too much.
In time he'll come to realize
That the reckoning was such
A significant piece
To the jigsaw he keeps,
But it never was enough,
For his faith never really leaps.

You've Never Known
I've seen such great delusions
With eyes tender to the sight
Of mishaps and contusions,
Suffering still through strengh and might.
And in times hard and troubled
They have learned to not be weary,
But astounded by things doubled
They believe another theory.
If everything has beauty
(And I feel that it all does)
These eyes shall be true to me
And give history as it was.
And hopefully obscurity does not care to blind
These memories held dearly in the corners of my mind.
