I've been thinking about the past a lot lately. There are so many things I miss that have changed over the course of a couple of years, and I just feel the need to reminisce on some of them. They are happy memories that I've stored away, and thinking about them makes me smile. Well, here we go!

I remember crazy times at the barn, riding double bareback and playing tag, hiding behind the trailers to get away. The games were never planned, they just sort of happened...
Fun times at restaurants, being the loudest group there and telling jokes that would keep everyone laughing for hours.
I miss hanging out in the wee hours of the morning, toilet papering people's houses, dressing like thugs, and laughing as we acted like we knew nothing about it the next day. I miss walking around late at night with melting cotton candy =D and stupid dares that we would never forget.
I miss late night sessions where we would sit for hours, talking about nothing imparticular and making jokes, even though we were freezing cold in the nighttime air.
I miss being so close to the people around me that I could finish their sentence...
I miss rolling down steep hills and laughing until I cried...

There are so many things that I can only recall a few, but they are all worth while. They are priceless memories, and I hope that I may never forget them.

Off the Deep end

Somewhere in my heart I have developed this feeling of disgust. Not for anything you would know to be obvious, but for something much deeper than that.

Hypocrisy is way overrated.

Say one thing and do another. It is a vicious cycle that is seen every day. How horrid a thing to do, preach but don't pray. Now, I'm not saying that it has anything to do with religion, that's just an example, but it does has to do with everyday life. People act as if things don't matter, then they complain about it later. You wouldn't complain if you didn't care... I wouldn't complain if I didn't care... We deny the facts because we don't want to look weak; we don't want to seem as if we have flaws. Everyone has flaws, no matter how big or small. It's undeniable.

Human nature is a fascinating thing.

Hopefully my feeling of disgust will subside, but for now, I remain dormant.

Sweet adieus and good luck with all,

Hey all! Well, I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I'd catch you up on things!

Anyway, no more drama for quite some time now, so thank god, because all of my blogs were completely serious at that time... I do like them though! It's fun to experiment with different types of language. I like to write in old english style a lot, but unfortunately my teachers do not appreciate it.

Either way, there is a Howlers show tomorrow, or should I say today considering it's 12:13am, at Elkins Lodge. Show up! They are amazing and they put on a fantastic show!

My time at the Glasshouse was all too entertaining. We danced to some strangely spectacular music from DJ Lance Rock and fell in love with the interesting characters that came onto the stage. Hunter Revenge was amazing! Fifth show of the very short tour and it was a blast! Had a discussion with the lead vocals later about everything from bleaching hair to a lack of eyeballs. (I would advise you not ask. haha!)

For CoHi kids and others who are interested, 30/60 is December 5th. Support drama! Not when other people start it, but the department. Thought I should mention that before anyone decides to climb up on their high horse. Either way, I'm sure you're bored with my ramblings by now so I leave you with an adieu.

Goodnight and goodluck!

p.s. check out the band For Real For Real. Great music if you're into bands like the Horrors!
